Established in 2011, Ombra is a neighbourhood trattoria with a strong focus on seasonal produce, natural wines & freshly made pasta.
Ombra is an Italian restaurant located at the corner between the southern bit of Hackney and the Regent canal. It quietly opened in June 2011, reinvented itself a couple times during the pandemic and now it’s thriving more than it ever has.
Expect a laid back service, a short selection of mostly natural wines and a couple of more traditional stuff.
The menu is dictated by the best produce available either from the motherland or by local small farmers.

Our chefs will create a bespoke feasting menu specially designed for your event.
We offer a three-course menu for £45pp and a tasting menu for £65pp.

the wine list is focused on
low-intervention and natural wines mostly from the motherland with some exceptions, occasionally we look further afield but only when it’s really worth it.

These are the kitchen opening hours, however you are welcome to join us for an afternoon aperitivo or a post dinner drink ‘till around midnight.
